M&S Original Switch Deal

I switched to M&S Bank last year and was getting my Gift Card topped up by £5.00 each month for paying in a £1000 per month and having 2 Direct Debits.
I see they have taken out a new offer, does that mean the old offer is dead?

The terms and conditions of the offer you signed up to still apply to you.
But not to anyone starting it now. They'll be getting the new offer.0 -
I don't recall getting a text from M&S lately saying they have topped up my gift with a fiver.0

I did this switch and got the initial gift card. I have been paying in the £1000 per month and have 2DDs so I should qualify for the extra £5 per month top ups. But I presumed that these were added after the year had elapsed. Is that wrong? Has yours been being topped up monthly? ThanksMFW since March 2019Mortgage-free 30th June 2023

Last year's switching offer was £125 upfront and up to another £60 (£5 per month) over the following 12 months if certain criteria are met.0 -

It should be topped with £5 each month, round about now. I have not been keeping an eye on mine, so not sure it has. I had to chase them up about it near the end of last year, they said there was a glitch, and I would get two payments the following month, which I did.

It would appear it is not an automatic process and you may have been completely missed. You can log on to your M&S account and check your card balance, but it does not save a history of credits and debits.

Thank you - it looks as though I may have been missing out then. I will chase it up tomorrow.MFW since March 2019Mortgage-free 30th June 2023

Have just checked online (didn't know I could do that, thank you) and the £5 per month has been credited! Great stuff :jMFW since March 2019Mortgage-free 30th June 2023
