Holiday pay while on SSP

Been with employer for 6 years. Been on SSP since November 2018 due to my disability. What I want to try and find out is am I entitled to take my holidays while on SSP? I have 26 days holiday and SSP is not much per month

Holidays may only accrue at the statutory rate while on sick leave, that depends on your employer so you may not have as much as you think.
Your employer may agree to pay holiday pay while you're off, but you can't force them to.All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.1 -
I have 26 days it says on my employer profile online. I did ask but my employer said they wouldn't pay me for them and that they just accumulate every year. I get 21 days a year on my contract and I currently have 26 days. Was trying to see if they are wrong saying that I can't take them while on SSP but looks like I can't take them0

Have a word with ACAS on this one. Call them on 0300 123 1150, They will be able to give you a clear answer.Unlike some here, I am not omniscient. If I am wrong correct me. I won't take offence.

My knowledge on holiday and pay for the holiday entitlement is the same as your employers.
If someone is off sick and on SSP, then they cannot decide to take holiday entitlement while off sick, just so they can receive holiday pay.
I think it has always been this way.The comments I post are personal opinion. Always refer to official information sources before relying on internet forums. If you have a problem with any organisation, enter into their official complaints process at the earliest opportunity, as sometimes complaints have to be started within a certain time frame.0
