Hi. Well I hav just joined E.on 2 month ago. Now I am in the warm home scheme. Which has left me in credit of £153. So far I have asked for it twice. But still showing as a credit. And want me to increase my DD from £10 to &17 the 1st time I asked for a refund. And in the second attempt now want £38.I have told them I pay for my heating as a service charge in my rent. So my bill will not fluctuate much per month. And £10 is enough for the energy I will use.But NO. they have to go by the algorithm which thinks in winter you will spend more.So on my second attempt very polite lady but slightly dissed. The previous agent, stating hadn’t done this and that.Like a meter reading. So I asked so why did She want to increase my DD if she hadn’t received my reading and why was a bill produced.So cut a long story short. I received a £10 gesture of good will.Which was nice !!!But I will be escalating it on Monday to speak to a resolution manager.As it still appears I will not be getting my refund between 48hrs to 3 days.2 to 3 days would of been much simpler
As a former customer service advisor
my best advice would be if you are not happy with the outcome. Immediately escalate it to a complaint.And if u have to ring day after day
all the better as they will have to give you a gesture of good will.Which increases each time you have to call to resolve your issue.Best advice.Don’t take prisoners and stand your ground.And make sure the agent types in everything you have said.All calls are recorded
so if you feel their attitude smells of
i don’t believe you.Ask for a manger to listen to the last agent you spoke to.As they can’t hide from plain FACTS.
