Do UPVC Windows Have to Match?

Want to get new front of house UPVC Windows with the upstairs being tilt n turn for ease of cleaning and bottom being casement for good security.
We have been told that tilt n turn won't match casement and so need to go with one or the other, my wife loves tilt n turn as with shorter reach they are a doddle to clean and i would love to try them on the upstairs.
I wondered if a bay window might be the solution because only a couple of homes in our street have a bay window which is a good match for the upstairs so is the idea of them needing to match unnecessary
In an ideal world casement downstairs and tilt n turn upstairs which look a good match however, this is proving very difficult to obtain after 6 quotes including one of the big players.

Why do you think modern tilt-and-turn windows are not secure?
Plenty of commercial and residential properties have tilt-and-turn windows on the ground floor/ otherwise accessible (eg. via fire escape) without being broken into regularly.Declutterbug-in-progress.⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️0 -

Not thinking not secure but because they are generally bigger windows someone could smash and jump through but with some very small casement ones it is more difficult to fit through when the glass is broken.
Maybe i'm a bit paranoid about these things but always thinking of security stuff to extent of considering a grille despite never being a victim.Enjoy everyday like it's your last!0 -
You say 'need' to match, they don't 'need' to match if you're not bothered if they don't.

I suppose so i don't have to as with so many bay windows hardly any match, having trouble deciding which way to go with it, they say bay windows are going out of fashion so not sure what to do.Enjoy everyday like it's your last!0 -

By "bay windows" do you mean a proper bay window like the type that was built as part of older houses (goes down to the ground, with a wall under the window, that you can walk into on the inside) or a bow window, which is just stuck on the front of the house over the opening where the window was?
If it's the latter I think they're massively naff, like fake leaded windows etc.Solar install June 2022, Bath

I suspect its cost to make versus profit thing. There are many more mechanicals in tilt n turn than casement.
There will be some independent window makers close to you that you should contact. There are loads of designs as well, window making software makes it simple for the fabricators.0
