I've got 95mm posts but ScrewFix only got 100mm post shoe which can be seen below.

Can I put wedges on sides before tighten it? I plan to fill it with Postcrete concrete afterward.

You will only fail to learn if you do not learn from failing.

never used them but it sounds like a good plan plus only 5mm difference and by the time you tighten up the clamp will be ok.0

In my experience, when I've used a shoe or post holder that "matches" the dimensions of the post, I've had to shave off some of the post to make it fit to the point I can hammer it onto the post. I wouldn't be surprised if the 95mm post isn't already a snug fit in the 100mm shoe.0

If youhave a Homebase nearby, which is closing, I bought some 100mm ones from them for pennies...also have the same issues, when I do get chance to use them.
