I'll cancel my know how cover
One last question, if something goes wrong and I need to use the manufacturer warranty, who do I contact?

First port of call should be the retailer, depending on who you speak to at Currys it could be easier to go direct to the manufacturer.

    Ok thanks.

So a manufacturers warranty doesn't cover accidental damage ? If this is the case then i'll continue paying for the team knowhow cover

Are you serious? If you accidentally smash your TV screen with a hammer while doing some DIY, you think that the manufacturer's warranty covers that?
The only policy that will cover that is if you have accidental damage cover on your household contents policy-which is likely to be cheaper than buying an expensive stand alone D&G policy via Currys that is marked up 100% plus, compared to buying it direct.
As above, you can buy for the same price or less at JL or RS and get a warranty for 2 to 6 years included. But that won't cover accidental damage.
No free lunch, and no free laptop ;)
