Can a Sony PS4 (connected by HDMI cable to a TV) be used to play any of the following:
...music CD’s?...music on a CD-R,...music in MP3 format on a CD-R?

And the upshot from the manual is that the PS4 does not support CDs of any type.
However, you can play MP3 files off a USB device.
Sounds strange to me, I will give it a test when I get home later.(Although I could be wrong, I often am.)0 -
