I didn't watch that particular programme but when I first started cutting down I really started to notice how often people in TV programmes met up in a pub/bar or had a drink at home. I found it really hard as I wanted to join in with them at the time.

maman, it is hard! It is absolutely that true people on the telly always seem to be drinking. It really bothered me when I first started cutting back but not so much now luckily. But I'm sure I posted ages ago saying if you want to cut back on booze it might help to cut back on telly at the same time.

Hoping to achieve target by remaining AF today and on a rare Friday night as we have friends in for a meal on Saturday. Still I am pleased about that - or will be by Saturday morning. Quite agree about all the images of drinking onTV, I particularly noticed it on Sunday night in Last Tango in Halifax - definitely made me want a glass of wine having remained AF all day!
