School Night Challenge 16th Feb to 20th FebArkers /4Mara /5Shaggy /5What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.3

Glad you made it over, Cuppa Tea!
Sorry that RL has been tough recently Shaggy. Hope things turn a corner for you soon. Thanks as always for looking after us with the scores.
I had a rough week at work last week, things came to a head on Friday, went home (late) feeling extremely hacked off and was tempted for the first time in ages to have a few drinks to deal with it. Normally I exercise like a lunatic when stressed about work and deal with it that way, trying to do something positive rather than detrimental, but because things have been so full-on, I just haven’t had time and that must have been why I felt like dealing with things some other way. I didn’t drink in the end on Friday but I went to bed still stewing about it all, and of course lay there for a long time unable to sleep. All I kept thinking was ‘if you’d had a few beers you’d have been able to forget about it’, which is probably true.
Anyway I didn’t drink Friday - or any time else this weekend - so I’m up to 15/24 thank you. Not looking forward to tomorrow but at least I’ll go back to work with a clear head.6 -

Sorry to hear you’ve had a rough week at work season of mist, bet you felt so much better about yourself afterwards and over the weekend for not having a drink. Usually for me once I’ve got in and had a cuppa or an AF beer and the moment has passed, I don’t feel as bothered. I’m going for an AF week this week, well until Friday when I’m off out with my friends. This will be day 14 AFD.
It’s strange I’m not even thinking about having a drink, like I was in dry January. I’m just going with the flow, wonder if it’s because I’m putting less pressure on myself? X2
