Oh I see lol, well I will be aiming for 31 in January as I will be doing "Dry January" :)

SSDD23, I feel I haven't described it very well! There's a monthly challenge that has been going since 2008 that is currently being run by the lovely Shaggydoo, and an annual challenge that is run by me that has been going three years or so. Both challenges are all part of the one huge thread, it isn't set up as a new thread each month or year - this particular thread has been going since April this year. It would be fabulous if you wanted to join in both the monthly and annual challenges! I've added you to the annual challenge and I'm sure Shaggy will be along very shortly and will add you to the monthly challenge for January. It's good to see you :)

Still eating my Christmas food though down to the last mince pie and handful of chocs.

I've got a few chocolates and some crisps left with my name on. Other stuff my DH will eat. I'm setting Thursday as my day for getting back to 'normal'.

Thanks for all your support in 2019 everyone. :):A

No it's ok I think I got it, I was just declaring for both to make sure I was covered I think :rotfl:
  • Not calling today yet as not 100% sure what I’m doing later, but I am up to 25/23, thank you. That is better than I hoped and an improvement on Dec last year where I managed 18 days AF.

Thanks again for the totals Shaggy and I loved the emoticons for December. I had hoped to have an AFD yesterday but didn't manage that so am ending the year on 15/14.

Welcome to new joiners. I'm not going to do dry January but hope to beat my target for the month. I'm also scared to get on the scales - they may yelp in protest! I really want to make 2020 a year of getting healthier and fitter so need to continue to reduce drinking and lose weight as well as actually going to the gym !

Happy New Year to everyone. Enjoy NYE (maybe not too much) and then up and at them in a new decade.

    Hello everyone!!!

I didn't reach target this year, but not overally bothered as still did better than any other year.

I decided to enjoy my Xmas instead of worrying about hitting targets and the like, but I didn't go overboard.

So I will finish December on 17 and the year on 181/183. Missed it by two. Never mind. I still feel I am doing better than I have done.

Not sure I feel up to setting a target for 2020. If I do, it will either be 183 again or 200, but at the moment, I will be TF. I tried doing Dry Jan last year and managed 28 days, but I don't feel the need to do it this time round. As long as I feel I have my drinking under control, I am happy with that. I will aim for SNC most of the time and see how I get on.
