Hello
I'm setting a target of 20 for November. I've booked myself a little holiday the week after next, just a couple of days at the seaside to relax after the stress of my recent medical issues.
I've been away on business in Australia for a week which turned into a week of sandwiches, pasta and wine and I feel fat and unhealthy now, a week on the wagon will do me good.Say what you mean.. mean what you say... without being mean.0 -

Barny I hope you feel better soon.
2/21 please Shaggy. Thank you.

Arkers, I'm suddenly acutely aware that I didn't congratulate you on finishing your radiotherapy, and to say I'm really sorry again about the loss of your dog. It has truly been hellish time for you. I really hope the healing is beginning now.I will do SNC please Shaggy
I did try to be a little non recognisable to begin with , and to a lot of my life I still do ,, but the recent events of my life ,, I really would have gone mad , hit the booze or worse without the support of all on here x
That's what we're all here for. We share the same goal and we all know how tough it is to make the change to take back control of our lives around booze. You're very much a member of the group that 'gets it', so you're truly one of us. (((Hugs)))Hello

I know it's just your life to you, but it does sound rather glam from wet, cold blowy Blighty right now! When I think back to your posts earlier this year and how unhappy you were you now sound like a woman reborn. A glass or two of slosh every now and then to celebrate getting your mojo and good health back isn't the worst thing that you could do, is it? Celebrate the good times without guilt, and then double down when you want to get back on track.
*Healing vibes* heading your way, Barny.
3/30 please, Shaggy. Glad you had a good time in York; I've never been, and always rather wanted to. Maybe someone I know will eventually get married there, otherwise it'll be yet another of those places that's permanently on the 'Wouldn't it be nice to do that? Hey ho' list.Better is good enough.0 -

Morning all , just had a proper catch up ,,,,
Shaggy York sounds lovely , I’ve only been once with work , you packed a lot in , and makes us all want to visit !
Annie , I agree with HB , at the start of the year you were so low , and now , despite your recent health scare , you are certainly living again , well done you !
Have a good day all ,, will post score later , for some reason I think it tempts fate posting too early , although I have no intention or desire to drink today anyway!

I will start calling in once I have actually completed the evening to avoid confusion. It will help my confusion too!Total weight lost 6.5/73lbs starting yet again. Afds August 10/15. /8 Sept.0
