Selling contact lenses on ebay (not used ones!!)

Hi
I know this sounds strange but due to a mistake I now have 6 sealed boxes of daily contact lenses (they sent me the wrong prescription and then did not ask for them back - it's been a few months so I guess they aren't going to)
They are really expensive to buy in the shops and online as they are a brand name so I was hoping to sell them on ebay but there are literally no other listings of this type. I've checked the rules and there's nothing about it there.... does anyone have any ideas what I should do?
I know that I'd have to say in the listing that the person needs to have a valid prescription etc etc so I won't be irresponsible...I just don't want to be booted off ebay if it's not allowed! I'm a new seller.
If it's not a good idea, have any of you kind people got any ideas how/where I could sell them?
Thanks
BE

  • You wont / shouldnt be able to sell these anywhere as its illegal to supply them without the correct qualifications/licence, how about going back to your opticians and asking for an exchange, chances are they will just do it and not realise you shouldnt have them in the first place !

    That would be dishonest.

This is a money saving site, not a fraud advice site? ;)

What qualifications do the online sites that supply contact lenses have?
