According to a news article today, Fiat Doblo 7 seater is the fastest depreciating car in the UK, probably because it's van-based, boxy and pretty rare, but it's a perfectly good 7 seater if bought 2nd hand. Shares all parts with other Fiat vans and cars.

Thanks so much, I've been looking at zafiras as these seem to be the cheapest available 7 seater. What is the 2018 recall thing? So pleased you mentioned thus as I had no idea. The cars I seem to be looking at are more like 8ys old with over 100,000 miles on the clock. What do you think? x
Actually there were 2 recalls one in 2015 one in 2018 to do with the ventilation and heating getting blocked/starting a vehicle fire

I'd expect the fact the recall work has been done to be on Vauxhall's database. Don't let this put you off, just make sure you get it checked and done after buying a Zafira. Same applies to many other brands.

Being a Fiat probably doesnt help either.

Agree about high miles, not a problem if looked after.

My son bought a used Zafira some years ago and was sufficiently pleased with it to trade it in for a new one ....both were petrol. They kept the second one for many years. They are a family with 3 children ( now all grown up) but the children often invited friends along as well ....hence the need for 7 seats.

7 year old Tourans are pretty cheap, especially petrol versions.
