Probably deleted by the moderators for some perverse reason. I am getting more and more p..d off with this forum by the minute! Okay, there was some disagreement amongst contributors, including me, and there were the usual ad hominem attacks which are characteristic of this forum, more generally. However, some of us contributed quite a bit of writing in the thread, and for it to be arbitrarily deleted - if that's what's happened - is beyond the pale. I doubt the OP's actions in what he described actually amounted to illegality.0

With you there John - I was disagreeing with you on that thread but only in the course of normal rational debate, so to borrow the famous quote, "I disapprove of what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it"! OK, maybe not literally making this a matter of life and death but I didn't see anything particularly offensive/defamatory, etc, so am unclear why it would have been wiped....0

I've just made popcorn.
I'll have to find something to watch on Netflix now...0 -
I am sure the reason for the disappearance is nothing to do with the disagreement on various bank security aspects. They were off topic, anyway.
Funnily enough, I was just about to post a response which included a quote of the full OP. I was going to say that the Nationwide offer is limited to 5 referrals per referrer per tax year, and that I didn't think that 5 was "lots of friends". But as the thread has vanished, I am not going to say that now
I do have the copy of the OP still if anyone wants it.0 -
I think the OP deleted it maybe? or requested it, either way , a CIFAS Is going to make its way to them shortly"It is prudent when shopping for something important, not to limit yourself to Pound land/Estate Agents"

Who knows? As that old poem goes, big fleas have little fleas ...0 -
Could be the bank asked MSE for the ID of the individual
So they though it best to wipe it totally....
On the aviation forums intervention by companies seems more vigorous with the forum administrators apparently being asked to either provide the ID/IP address details of the poster or remove the post.0 -

If that's the case, the bank should be told in no uncertain terms what to do. This can be done in two words, the first of which starts with 'F'.0 -
Fine
So MSE then gets stuffed with a "Norwich Pharmacal" order as they are called to divulge the identity of the poster forthwith plus all the costs associated with it as they refused when asked politely.0
