Which Savings Account?

Good morning all.
I need an account that is separate to our current account for "savings". I say "savings" because they may only be saved for 1 month, they may be saved for 10 months depending on what comes up! At the moment anything sat in our current account is being spent on groceries...
Would you suggest an easy access savings? Or another current account?
Many thanks for your help

A current account paying 5% will certainly be a more attractive option than an easy access savings account paying about 1.5%.
