Transferring meter funds
Hi everyone so me and my girlfriend are moving property’s and I have just seen on our gas and electric meters we have still quite a lot of money on the meter and I was wondering if there is any way that I can transfer this to our new property in anyway because it seems a big waste of money. Thanks

Ring your energy co just before you leave, and they will tell you how to get closing readings from your meter. Then they will refund any credit or ask for any debt.
Do the same at your new place, and try to get a new key for move in day.0
