So I’m trying to get the ‘perfect’ 999 score on Experian - I have a default that is due to come off in 17 months (naive, stupid student days) so appreciate it’s not going to happen until that is spent but just wondered wig anyone has any tips.
Do you pay cards in full every month? Do you let a little carry over? are dormant cards bad?
Thanks in advance!

Just why ?
Forget the score, you can be safe in the knowledge that lenders cant even see the score, they see the history, in any case there's 3 agencies who rate you differently so which rating should they use to determine if your a reliable customer ?0 -

Bankruptcy normally gives a 999 score, so there's your easy option.
But if you want lenders to view you positively, clear your card each month, reduce debt to a minimum and keep to the terms of your agreements.0 -
