Hi we have had numerous delays over the past 5 months since my offer was accepted on the house we hope to buy. The time delay has been all down to waiting for her to get her ducks in a row. Depends on how petty you want to be, how much you like the ouse etc. If she's emigrating, she's trying to squeeze every penny out of you, hence asking you to pay for the wardrobes , but, pulling out of the sale will probably scupper part of her plans, or her entire plan to emigrate, so depends on how nasty you're feeling.
Me, I'd look for another house because if she's been messing about for four months, then done this, there's no telling what else will go on before you exchange.
