Spark are a terrible company to deal with. I moved into a property where they were supplier and had lots of issues with them trying to bill me for a period before I moved in.

You have been refused a mortgage because of an unpaid £11 electricity bill from years ago, is that correct ?

    Hi sourcrates,

Incorrect, the account ceased supply in June 2017 and was settled at £0.
However, in November 2018, an £11 debt was placed on Experian.
Spark have confirmed that no balance is due and the marker placed on the account is to be removed (they have no record of this £11 debt on their system)
Basically now have to chase to remove the incorrect information from the database.

    Hope this helps.
