Hi all. I started with Bank loans and Mortgages in the 1980's. I have lived at mulitiple addresses and have used multiple Banks and Building Societies. I know I have had Loan protection and Mortgage protection but I am unsure as to what to claim for and how to do it. A couple of the online PPI claim companies have asked for Banks, Building Societies and old adresses, Are there any companies who can do a search for me which will save me a lot of time, for a reasonable fee ?
TIA

None. They need you to tell them who you had it with, they cannot search for anything because your data is not in th public domain.
It's a claims compnay myth, along with, 'we have special powers' , 'you are owed PPI' ' we are better at it than you are'.
You are not claiming anything, yuo are complaining that something was missold.
Phone or go to the website of the companies involved and complain directly to them.Non me fac calcitrare tuum culi0 -
None of them will do searches for you, and none of them charge a reasonable fee.
All you need to do is to send your mis sale complaint reasons to the lenders who sold it to you. However, you have almost no chance of there being any records remaining after 30+ years.0
