Discounted Morningstar Premium subscription

I took out a 14 days trial for Morningstar, phoned to cancel it on Day 12 and was put through to their US office who offered a year for half price, ie £79.50 instead of £159 (though they seemed confused about the difference between Euros and Sterling). My guess is that's a standard offer they make.

So what are the benefits and is it worth £79.50? Most of my information is freely available.

And that's why I declined the offer - but others might like to know it. I did find the stock style breakdown of individual funds useful - Large/Mid/Small + Growth/Blend/Value - but then found the same info is available on Interactive Investor.
