Spammers faking e-mail addresses with my domain in

Spammers are faking e-mail addresses with my e-mail in. I was getting tonnes and tonnes of failed delivery and your e-mail has been blocked by spam filters. From what I can tell the spam source is not my own mailserver or webspace. It seems the spammer is advertising penis enlargement.
I have since routed mail not sent directly to my e-mail address to another and put an auto-responder on that - so that anyone replying will get a non-delivered e-mail and another auto-response telling them
Has anyone else experienced a problem like this? It's seriously annoying me.

Hello,
Unfortunately spammers have been faking e-mail addresses using my domain, consisting of a random name. This e-mail indicates the address you e-mailed is not in use, and if you received an e-mail from it it must have been a faked spam message. I apologise on behalf of the spammers, but I doubt they would apologise themselves and unfortunately I cannot stop them. I am as annoyed by this as you are and wish they would stop.
I recommend looking at http://www.spamcop.net and reporting the original spam e-mail you received.
Best wishes and all my hopes for a spam free future for you and everyone,

It's actually quite common. Your best bet is to wait it out, they tend to die down when the spam starts spoofing a different address from your own. Long term you may want to look into some sort of "disposable" email address system to ditch any addresses that attract spam. I've got my own domain that gives me the freedom to give a unique address to each site I sign up with etc. Not only does that cut down my spam to zero but whenever I've had any spam/phishing emails I can just delete that address and it tells me (by which address it went to) which company/website gave my address to the spammers. Then I raise hell with them."She is quite the oddball. Did you notice how she didn't even get excited when she saw this original ZX-81?"
