Quotezone quotes

Beware !!!!
I was looking for some cheap 3rd party car insurance for a 2nd car and not getting what I considered to be "reasonable" quotes from some of the major comparison sites I thought I'd try Quotezone as it was "recommended" by MSE.
Well I got some much better looking quotes, and then went to my preferred provider on the phone (not the cheapest) to discover to my horror that the information that was provided to the insurer was NOT what I had entered
The site had INCORRECTLY looked up my vehicle - strange, the insurer's sites get it right as do the major comparison sites ! The selected insurer updated the details to the correct ones and low and behold the premium went up (considerably). It was not attractive so I thought I'd go and check out the others and CHECK the detail Quotezone had submitted.
To my worse horror :mad::mad: not only had it got the vehicle wrong (but correct registration where it was displayed) BUT the model was several years earlier with the earlier registration letter as well and the wrong fuel, & it had acquired a type of immobiliser that it doesn't have !!
It had the date my licence started 22 years later with today's day and month, had not correctly described my marital status, and had invented an employer business although it did correctly say I was retired.
My opinion of this site is that it's unreliable and misleading so beware!
I'm also concerned that such incorrect information might make it look as though the proposer was trying to do something fraudulent
Please don't make any replies concerning NCD, I'm well aware of such things in relation to 2nd vehicles and that had absolutely nothing to do with what I've discovered.
