Former international motorcyclists Joey Thompson has opened up a new cafe and dessert parlour just off the A64 roadside between York and Malton, which he hopes will become a local favourite as well as a stop-off for people travelling through. Kushty’s will be serving hearty breakfasts, lunchtime treats and, of course, delicious desserts, with an emphasis on amazing food, local produce and great times. While there are main dishes on the menu, the desserts steal the show here, from waffles loaded with mouthwatering toppings to Yorkshire ice cream sundaes.
