Which? have ninety three in the cordless vacuum cleaner category, of which eighteen are Best Buys (BBs) and thirty seven are Don't Buys.

The cheapest Which? BB cordless vacuums are the Samsung Powerstick Pro (79% overall score) and the Vax Blade 2 32V (72% overall). They both score 4/5 stars for pet hair removal.

The cheapest BBs that score 5/5 stars for pet hair removal are the Dyson V7 Motorhead (75% overall) and the Vax Blade 2 Max VBT3ASV1 (77% overall).

    HTH! :)

Vax Blade Ultra TBT3V1P2 Cordless 32V Stick as i cant afford enough for the blade 2 max at the moment which is a shame because after reading up on it, it sounds really good

I have a Vax Blade 32v - battery life is fine, even on full power but I find the suction pretty poor compared to my corded Dyson, and the brush bar get loads of hair trapped and needs cleaning a lot. The dust bin is really small too, but many cordless ones are to be fair.

I wouldn't recommend it to replace a decent corded vac. I use mine for quick clean ups - being cordless it is so quick to get it out & put away.

I'll do more research next time but at the moment it seems like you need to spend well over £200 for something decent
  • Check out the Dyson outlet on ebay. I bought one last year for 160 when it came it was brand new. Reviews suggest they are all new not refurbished.
