Car seat cover fitting

Hi there!

I’m new to this therefore I apologise if I put this post on the wrong place.

Does anyone who live in Leeds where they know where you can get car seat cover fitted?

Thanks in advance. :)

Not the wrong place, but I am struggling to understand the query. What sort of seat covers? Is there some reason why these are difficult to fit? In my experience it is like putting loose-covers on a couch and no more difficult than getting a duvet cover on a duvet! :)

If you can get dressed in the morning you can put a seat cover on :)

If its replacing the original seat cover, dont bother buy another seat, a far easier option. The clips on the original seats can be frustrating to fit and get a good fit.

Getting it professionally recovered will cost as much as another seat. Unless its something rare and not available.

Thank you to all your responses. I’ve seen YouTube videos and it’s looks hard. I’m sure it’s easy if you know what your doing. I’m prepared to pay someone do it for me as you have to take the seats off etc to put the seat cover on. I’m useless with diy. Therefore if you know some who does this or a garage who fits car seat covers then please let me know. Thank you.

I think part of my problem is the strange mix of sizes we have, the duvet always seems to be just slightly bigger than the cover!

But coming back to the original query, again... what sort of covers are these? And what car? I’ve never had to take the seats out to put on the covers.

My current seat covers are from Seat Surgeons in York. I found them to be really helpful and it may be that if you contact them, they would know of someone in Leeds.

Seat Surgeons in York are getting a good reputation. They're the go to place for MX5 seats.

    Depends on the car.

I got a set of made to measure seat covers from eBay last year, and while they look good now they're on, they were a bit more complicated than getting dressed. The back seat wasn't particularly difficult but the front seats needed all sorts of plastic trim removing before you could get the bases on (and then re-attaching)
