Hi All,
I've owned this Panasonic 40EX700B LED TV for just over a year and over the last month or so have started to notice this annoying horizontal banding going all the way across the screen in about three places. It's just a slight colour variation and only seems to be present when the shots are tilting up or down, or there is a diagonal camera move.
I first saw it on a few Netflix shows but have now seen it on a blu-ray too.
Can anyone advise what this is and if/how I can fix it?
I bought the TV from John Lewis so still have 4 years left of warranty. But I like this TV and 40" screens are becoming hard to find and don't want to change it or go through the faff of getting someone out to look at it etc unless I have to...
Thanks...

I don't watch that much live TV to be honest so haven't noticed it, but that doesn't it's not there. It's only been visible to me on certain shots, and happens maybe once or twice per movie... So I could have just missed it on the live TV I have watched.
Why do you ask?0 -
I've just seen it happen watching live TV, so in fact yes it does!0

That establishes that it's the screen, not just one of the inputs, that's the problem. Clean the screen, make sure it hasn't taken a knock that would cause any light bleed, but in general, these things aren't worth repairing...0
