Best places for investment advice

Hello

I was just wondering where people find the best advice on investments.

I've come across pension craft (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC9OIwUcx-Uss7xj7s1P5XGw) which I find really useful, but I was wondering what other resources are out there...I find reading lots of articles confusing as they often seem to contradict each other.

Thanks in advance

If it's advice you're looking for then the best advice will come from an advisor, who's paid to evaluate your circumstances, objectives, risk attitude, etc, and make clear recommendations as to what's best for you.

If it's generic information you're after then that's a different matter - as you say there are inevitably different opinions but many of the basic principles are common to most sensible articles and sites.

Much depends on where you are on the investing journey, in that the information requirements of a complete novice will be somewhat different from those of a seasoned veteran with an extensive existing portfolio.

So, what sort of information are you looking for and why?

Advice is a regulated activity. You can get advice from FAs or IFAs. You should never use an FA. Only IFAs.

Pensioncraft are not advisers and are not allowed to charge to give advice in a regulated area.

They appear to be selling opinion. Not advice.

Welcome to the internet. Some things will be correct. Some will be wrong. Some will be correct at the time they were made but wrong due to later changes. Only regulated firms are required to keep content up to date.
