Browser not up to date

The message ‘you are using an outdated browser’ has come up when I use Microsoft edge or when I use internet explorer having typed it into the search box.
I don’t know how to fix this as I always run the updates so my pc is up to date.
I’m running Windows 10 Home. Any advice on how to fix it please? Many thanks.

About as generic as it gets.
What site does this occur on?0 -
Why not try another browser, my preference is Firefox but others prefer Chrome?0

Are you sure it says 'outdated' and not 'unsupported'?0

It’s Thomas cook airlines. It says ‘you are using an outdated browser with security vulnerabilities and will not enable you to use all features of this website. Update your browser so your web experience can be date and faster. Or check the compatibility button above to improve the view. ‘
There doesn’t seem to be a compatibility button.
Thanks for any help.0 -

I just tried their website on IE, Edge, Chrome & Firefox and getting the exact same message so it's obviously their website at fault. It is a message you'll see frequently on IE as it is an old browser now.0 -
That's an issue with the web site code. Firefox 66.0.2, released March 27th 2019, is hardly "old".
What it typically means is somebody's done a browser check in the code and put the wrong figure in somewhere, so this notification will always appear. Fortunately it appears only to be on the front page of the site.0 -
