Trade center wales - previous accident - legal action

Need legal advice

purchased a Nissan Juke 1.2 on finance from neath branch on 04-10-2018. 2 months later the back bumper paintwork started cracking. Where under the poor respray was another coating booked it into local branch for it to be fixed and resprayed this was done promptly,

On 03-02-2019 my car and a neighbouring car was hit whiles parked outside our home. Next door car was shunted into the back of my car, my car had minor damage to the centre of the back bumper. We took the claim through third-party insurance on repair by RGM (Body repair shop) found serious damage to the back right driver side. the whole back end had to be rebuilt as it was deemed unsafe, the accident on the 03-02-2019 had no impact or damage around the area that was deemed unsafe.

with a previous respray and photo evidence of accident on 03-02-2019 proves that trade centre wales neath branch had sold me a car that was in a rear ended accident prior to my ownership that was deemed unsafe.

got photos as a new member can't post links.but if you google trade centre wales reviews and check out google reviews you see a post from Mark Jones with photos and comment from Natalie from when i left a negative review about the cracking.

You should not ask for 'legal' advice on the net unless posters are indemnified against incorrect advice. You won't get "legal advice" that you can quote as such. You may get useful advice, but you will need to check this with a professional. You might get some useful pointers, though.

The difficulty you will have is proving on the basis of probability that the damage was a) before you took ownership, and that b) that TCW were aware of it when they sold the car to you.

Did you ask the selling garage if the car had been in any previous accidents?

The only answer they could realistically and honestly give to that is "We have no way of knowing."

Agreed. If the accident was non recorded, I doubt there's much he can do.

Deemed unsafe in what way? Is the bumper going to fall off?

Did someone hit your bumper which caused the paint to crack? Then you found previous repairs?
