Any help greatly appreciated.
We have moved to a new build site and it is controlled by EON. We are currently paying £30 a month just for the rental of the line... that’s £1 a day! We hardly use any heating so it’s having a HUGE impact on the monthly costs. They’ve also just put it up so it’s now going to be more than that. The village just down the road pays HALF of this as their monthly line charge! Where do we stand with this as EON shave the site contract for heating and is this charge accurate? Can we fight back against this huge cost?

Hello Hilly2910 and welcome to the Forums.
Not sure from your post but are you part of a District Heating scheme? These are where heating and hot water come from a district heating system supplied by an Energy Centre close to where you live. If you are, these accounts are looked after by a separate part of the business. This is our Heat team and it's best you talk to them. They're open from 8am to 8pm Monday to Thursday; 8am to 7pm Fridays and between 9am and 5pm Saturdays.
Contact details are on our website. They also have their own website and, if it helps, you can register to manage your account online. This will let you pay and view bills online, look at how much you're using, view payments and enter meter readings. They have their own complaints section too and there's an online form you can use to start the ball rolling.
