I'm not sure that your other examples would hold up, the PPC. The PPC could argue that ...

It would of course depend on the judge. but I would be quite willing to pit my skills against that of a scammer's hired gun. I have worked with some of the best legal brains in the land at the FCO.

So why not construct a GPEOL argument for any OP’s defence where you feel it applies? There are ample opportunities presenting themselves most days.

It would be good to test your frequent, but unsubstantiated, assertion. Let’s see what a Judge really says.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

... I have worked with [STRIKE]some[/STRIKE] one of the best legal brains in the land [STRIKE]at the FCO[/STRIKE] when I got bargepole to plead my case against the vendor in a misrepresentation action relating to an aborted property purchase.

    Fixed that for you.

I have been providing assistance, including Lay Representation at Court hearings (current score: won 57, lost 14), to defendants in parking cases for over 5 years. I have an LLB (Hons) degree, and have a Graduate Diploma in Civil Litigation from CILEx. However, any advice given on these forums by me is NOT formal legal advice, and I accept no liability for its accuracy.

Were I 20 years younger, (I am approaching 80), I might take you up on that. Right now, I cannot be arsed.
