Regular readings

Usual is once a month, just before the statement is due. That way the supplier should use the reading for producing the statement, rather than an estimate.
If they don't, ask them to correct it.0 -
Monthly on the last day .
Never had an estimate that was not more than a day or two out .
Could be after the winter a debit has built up .0 -
Cheers yes I thought once a month would be about right. Just Npower being Npower again.0

You do though need to supply those readings in line with the suppliers billing cycle otherwise you will still get an estimated bill, I know I have to supply my gas reading on the last day of the month and electric on 11th to get an accurate bill.0

Ah yes that'll be it then. I put the proper readings in straight away so it'll just get adjusted. As I say not a major problem I just wondered whether it was Npower being awkward but seems they're in the clear this time thanks all0
