When the TalkTalk service ends the phone and internet access will stop. When this happens you know that the switchover is happening and you consider plugging in the BT supplied equipment and waiting until the internet access appears. At this point the transfer to BT has completed.
You get details of what happens and what to do in the correspondence from your new ISP when you switch.
The TalkTalk hub will still work but you can't access the internet via BT with TalkTalk account details.0 -
BT will say it goes live on XX day .
Plug your new BT router in and wait for it to go live .
I usually plug it in last thing before the activation date as it often goes on overnight/ early am /
Once live you can set up your wifi passwords etc on router and devices .Likewise any email required .0
