Counting down the days until the April payday to get it all started0

Emergency funds are a good thing too have but i hear you regarding Vanquis interest. Just a suggestion re building the emergency fund do it in two ways 1) have a house declutter ie old books/dvds/cds/old phones unused electronics music magpie/ebay/ziffit/we buy books.co.uk There is money there too be had and say 50-60 percent of what you get could go off debts the rest into the EF
Next have a look at cashback sites like top cashback and see if you can do anything too save money on your utility bills/ mobiles/ insurances/etc etc
Every little helps in the long haul0 -
I’m going to start adding a total when I sell anything as soon as I get started, thank you great idea re splitting these 0

Just to clarify. What people are trying to suggest is clear the vanquis card and close it first as it charges so much in interest. Then go ahead with your emergency fund plans. You have enough money right now to get rid of it. Then straight into emergency savings. Scott has listed all the great companies for making money. You will definitely raise it and closing a card feels amazing- definitely the win you need.
You need to change all your outgoings to save money. Gas and electric can be changed on mse. Just search mse energy club. There will be loads you can save money on xxxLoan 1 £5200/£8000
Loan 2 £300/£5800
Total £5500/£138000 -
Didn't mean that to sound bossy - you don't have to. Just that a lot of repaying debt is mentality so if savings helps your mindset better then do that xxxxLoan 1 £5200/£8000
Loan 2 £300/£5800
Total £5500/£138000 -
Yeah there is a lot of survey sites you can use, i tend these days too stick with these as there is a lot i find tedious:
Prolific Academic
Opinion Outpost
Qmee
Power of Opinions
One Poll
Re the emergency fund build it slowly, if you are going too do a declutter remember ebay will charge you selling fees. These sites below dont and some you can get cashback for even just listing items have a look for these on top cashback.co.uk

Hi All,
Where do you all put your emergency fund and is it cash? I ask as if I leave it in my bank account then it will just be swollowed up in the overdraft of £5k, so would hardly be noticeable - what motivates you guys best, is it cash?0 -
