I didn't think they were cheap when I got transferred to them when IRESA died. Would have cost me an extra £250 a year. So I transferred away as soon as I could.
They seemed pretty efficient though.
I'd have a look on comparison sites to see how much they'd charge and see if there are any better deals about - put in your annual consumption in kwh and look at how much it would cost rather than how much it would save.Never under estimate the power of stupid people in large numbers0 -
Been with Octopus since 5 Dec, so far so good, looking at a lot of the problems people are having with other small suppliers this firm seem OK, you can give them one off payments with a debit card so you're not in too much debt, which means that your monthly DD should stay the same, also no exit fee and bear in mind that you can still see what's available via comparison sites and switch to a lower tariff with Octopus which I've just done, when you send them meter readings they generate a statement so you know where you are financially, you really don't want to build up huge credit or debit with these small suppliers, I think they're using your money as running capital, but all in all no problems so far with Octopus.0

I’m with them and cannot complain. Not had to contact them though.0
