Only selling half the garden with house

My concern too.In case it isn't obvious, bear in mind you'll also need to find a buyer who's prepared to move in next to a building site (you'll hardly be able to hide your proposals from them).
It's the unknown that people don't like.
Would you buy a house where half the garden was being sold to build 'something' on that plot? I know I wouldn't.2024 wins: *must start comping again!*0 -
Yes I understand the concerns with that. The idea would be to build a bungalow and this would be 40m from the existing house. However, yes there is the uncertainty of the build process and what may actually end up there.
I am due to have a pre-planning meeting next week. Getting a proposal and response on paper, although not guaranteed, will at least give the prospective buyer an idea of what they can expect.0
