Travel insurance - end supplier failure

Hi

We are looking to book a holiday to Sri Lanka. We are planning to book our travel (a driver) and our accommodation with a Sri Lankan tour operator, which we have been recommended. We will be booking our flights separately, directly with the airline.

We have been looking at travel insurance and initially thought that we would just need to ensure that they cover for end supplier failure (incase the company go bust) as it is not a package holiday. However when reading the policies all of them that we have looked at so far do not cover for tour operators going bust/into administration.

Has anyone had any experience of this? or found an insurance company that would cover this scenario? If we booked by credit card, could we rely on the section 75 cover instead?

Many thanks
Ashley
