Re-Claim Old Bank Charges

Hi All,
Just wondering if anyone has any experience in recently trying to reclaim charges from old bank accounts.
I had an account opened in 1995 which was frozen in 2003 because of a financial mess i got into. I had an overdraft which was exceeded constantly, bills unpaid and charged for, etc. It was frozen because my then boss kept bouncing my pay cheques. I had to leave that job and find another, but paid less. Used national debt Line to write all my creditors and spent the next years paying them all off, which i did...every penny. In those debts were charges and interests. Though i finished paying them all maybe 8 years ago, I wonder what my chances are of trying to reclaim the charges that I had to pay. I always wrote and told them my situations, but they were often unhelpful.
I never got around to doing it when everyone was on the wagon because having gone through the hell of it all I just could not face dealing with them all again. Now I'm in a better frame of mind, I would like to try, but if there is no point i won't bother with it.
Any suggestions anyone? Would appreciate any advice.
Thanks

No you cannot claim historically....
If you were in hardship now, you might have been able to but time to move on.
Well done and good luckmake the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.

You can read up on this at https://www.moneysavingexpert.com/reclaim/bank-charges/ but realistically I'd say you have no chance after all this time - even if justifiable, complaints will usually be rejected on time-barring grounds after six years.0
