Cold calling rip offs

Double take take the double P*ss!!

My friend has just called me that had her Photoshoot and deposit refunded. She just went to pay for her shopping and her card was declined!
She was kept saying that she had an overdraft and there is no way she could have gone over it. In the end she had to pay by cheque in the supermarket for her food.
She called her bank to see why this happened and Double Take have taken £500 today from her account with out any authorisation!! She does not owe them a penny, all her pics were paid for on the day.
She has been charged by her bank, and they wont do anything about it?? :eek:

She has tried calling Double Take, and what a surprise no answer!

I ve told her this is theft and it is down to her bank to reverse this unauthorise payment surely???
I think this also needs reporting to the Police.
Anyone else had this happen???

Looks like they rip off everyone, if u buy the pics or not!!

My Friend who has had the £500 taken from her bank account, has emailed me to say her friend that went to the photoshoot with her has been conned by Double Take also!! :eek:
Her friends Disc which she has paid for was ment to have all the images on it from the photoshoot the same as her. Well when it arrived it only has 4 on it! and 2of them she didnt even like!! She has tried calling and emailing double Take since last wk, and what a surprise no one has responded!!!

How many more people out there are they ripping off???? :mad:

I am still waiting for my money back through the bank, I have signed the declaration and sent back. So anyday now, I should be getting the £50 back.

my daughter was contacted by these people. luckily i warned her off before she had a call back.
