BBC Wales show more parking scams

w w.bbc.co.uk /news /uk-wales-47772305
BBC Wales had another programme featuring Parking Scam last night. They need to look in greater depth however, and maybe speak to MP's who spoke for the new Parking Code of Practice Act. Anyone on here who would like to tell their story please contact the X-ray programme.

    Very interesting article:

A scam UKCPM self-ticketer putting signs up behind cars, then removing them.

    Quelle surprise.

Twirly insisting it was an isolated incident. But instantly proved to be giving it his back teeth. Let’s see what now comes from the IPC’s investigation, I’m sure there’s a waiting carpet near to hand.

Why would anyone want to be a self ticketer were it not to earn money? There’s no limits, no supervision, and the more the self ticketer earns, the happier their employers are.

The UKCPM app, open to any dodgy random, was destined to be a vehicle for fraud. Now it seems to be being confirmed by the X-ray TV programme.

But the real sickener was seeing those odious-looking owners sipping champagne on a private jet funded by nothing other than penalties they have imposed on and extracted from the British public.

UKCPM will have known this fraud was going on.

It's on par with the UKPC fraud ?

The IPC would have known of the scam and so would Hurley, assuming he pays attention to what his scammers get up to.
After all, it's his bunch of kangaroos who reject appeals

And then, as if by magic, the incompetent Gladstones, the family firm, the inventors of the IPC/IAS scam, issue fake claims.

Doubt the DVLA would do much, not if it means losing £2.50 a pop for every piece of data provided to fakers and scammers like UKCPM

Here’s a little bit more to add to the story. There’s a mention that the DVLA are also involved in the investigation - I’m sure they’re keen not to see themselves lose too many of their £2.50s by making self-ticketing any more difficult!

The DVLA said it had taken "immediate action" alongside the IPC to investigate the incident.
They picked the phone up and had a nice cosy chat with Twirly.

Jeez they all need to get their noses out of the trough and kick out firms like UKCPM.

The parking industry does seem to have quite a few isolated one of incidents.

Would the IPC sanction UKCPM ????? Of course not while they are a good little earner for cousin Gladstones

As it is fraud against the motorist, the DVLA should ban them
