So when i left a property in 2014 there was an outstanding balance which i was not aware of at the time as my ex partner dealt with this. Its not until recently i noticed the outstanding balance on my equifax report, i have since paid. My question is the water account was closed in 2014 but the late payment shows from july 2017- oct 2018 ( i paid in nov 2018). My question is shouldnt the missed payments show from 2014 and will the 6 years on my account start in 2017?

The account should have been defaulted within 6 months of the missed payments.
If it isn't, ask them to change it.0 -
Thank you it shows '6' each month from july 2017 to oct 2018. So can i ask them to change this to 2014? Will it still show every month until 2018 when it was paid?0

Yes - it will then drop off 6 years after the default.0
