PPI claim with clothes catalogues

I had clothes catalogues about 30 years ago and was probably paying PPI, although I have no paperwork (nor recollection of the titles of the catalogues) and I have since got married. I don't have the details to go direct, but would a claims company be able to research and find the relevant details? Thanks.

No. Claims companies don't do 'research'. A claims company will ask you who you had PPI with, and why you think it was mis sold.
They will then mis-type that information onto the same form as you would and charge you a fortune for a second class stamp.
On the brightside, there won't be any records left after 30 years. anyway, so I would put this one to bed.0 -

Do note that Claim Companies have no special investigative powers and their "service" is merely to represent you in your own complaint.0
