Should I Buy house with breach of restrictive covenant?

    It depends entirely on the buyer's attitude... Some buyers might well be nervous ninnies who run screaming. Others might have a sensible dose of common sense and reality. You only need one.

    If all you encounter are potential buyers who think that a 1980s developer might crawl out of the woodwork (or rise from the dead) and demand that you change your dining room back into a garage, and aren't placated by the fact you've already got insurance against that very risk - then yes.

    Realistically, no, it's a trivial point.
