    Morning all.

I am reading along at present, not feeling much like posting and in truth, don't actually have a lot to contribute at present.

    Take care, all.
I was jumping to conclusions and one of them jumped back

OL, we once had a builder in at work who had the worst builder's bum ever. I kid you not we could see at least 10" of crack, any more and we'd have been able to see his equipment (non-building related). Our boss had a word with him but it made no difference, I used to walk past averting my eyes - he definitely wasn't hot.

    Afternoon all
Sorry I don't have the sun either or I would share it, honest ;). We have grey clouds, rain and hailstones.
We went out this morning to do a top up shop........ that's all I seem to be dong these days......... getting bread, milk and fruit. Unfortunately other things seem to fall in the trolley too and then I've spent more than I had budgeted for :(. Stupid really as all the freezers are full and every cupboard. I might try going back to once a month online shopping. Sorry for moaning, I know it's my own fault and I have to sort myself out. I feel like I've lost some of my ummph today and I could quite easily go back to bed and stay there :(. I need to give myself a good kick up the derriere as there are lots of people much worse off than me.
We also called in for a light bulb to replace the landing one, which went 3 days ago and I kept forgetting about it until I pressed the switch every night . I have quite a few of them but not the right wattage or fitting..... typical !
This afternoon I need to put the toys back properly in their rightful place and sort out the kitchen.
Tea tonight will be jacket potatoes, Mr Fix it will have his filled with coronation chicken and I shall have tuna.
Take care all and I hope everyone has a goodish day.
    Hugs to all
    nan xx

Good afternoon all, cold and windy here, but the sun's shining.

Usual Tuesday here, I went to Tai Chi this morning. To tell the truth I couldn't be bothered but went anyway, it was ok.

There's jobs here to do, but can't be bothered with them either, I need a kick up the arris I think.

It's our residents association meeting tonight, at which I take the minutes, then the Tuesday quiz.

I'll have to force myself on, don't know where my mojo's gone

It might be waiting for me tomorrow when I wake - standing by the bed with a list of jobs.....

Hope everyone has as good a day as possible

Afternoon all. Quiet here today. The highlight so far has been doing the Tosco online grocery order and the window cleaner cleaning the windows.

John was pleased that he could wash his hair today with shampoo as it is a week since he had his stitches out. Small pleasures.

It has just gone dark here and we are having a hailstorm lovely!

Well hugs to all .Keep warm and enjoy the rest of the afternoon.

Mission for wheelchair was successful - a free loan for six weeks and only for a donation when I return it.

The sun has been shining and making rainbows through the pounding rain!

AOD - so sorry to hear that you're not good.

Gintot - great news about John and his hair wash, small things are so pleasurable.

I'm off to look for all those missing mojos, they must be lurking somewhere.

OL, I've got the opposite problem, if I could go to sleep it would help!!
  • SCARLET RIBBONS - snap! My mojo upped and went months ago along with the ability to either get to sleep or stay asleep, despite feeling tired all the time.

GERS has DM been out of bed today. Maybe the DN could also remind her of the danger of pressure sores too. Painful and difficult to treat.

Strange weather for us too. The sun was shining through the coffee shop window and it felt quite warm. After a wander round the store afterwards we got outside to be met with a cold wind and hailstones battering us! The sun is now shining again and the sky is blue.

SNOOZER I'm pleased Laura is ok but it's understandable she should be worried after her previous experience.

AOD sorry you are still feeling below par. I miss your dry wit which always made me smile.

Despite a giant Yorkshire pud full of pork and leek sausages, creamy mash, assorted veg and lots of gravy at lunchtime I am feeling peckish already and my previous idea of something light for tea, after lunch out, doesn't sound very appealing. A freezer rummage is called for.

Have a pleasant evening if you can folks xx

I'm with the lost mojo and nana napping too. Haven't long woke up from a 2.5 hr nap...Thought about doing the dishes, made a cup of tea instead, thought about doing some sewing, watched an upcycle programme instead, thought about food for tonight, told OH he could decide again....he's gone for a nap now....It's catching :)
