L&G Multi Index funds - not on iWeb?

Can these funds be bought through iWeb - I can’t seem to find them using fund codes?

It's been mentioned several times on this board before. IWeb have a restricted range of funds compared to other platforms and the L&G Multi Index range is one of the ones it does not offer

You can always ask for funds to be added and they will send to their 'control team' to consider. I once had a fund added to Halifax Share Dealing (same underlying platform as iWeb) and it took about 2 months.

I had one added to the list (via Lloyds, it's the same platform, so it's also available on Halifax and iWeb) by asking before I was even a customer.

It was done within a couple of weeks - in fact maybe that's the way to do it, pretend to be a prospective customer :)

What they won't add is any fund whose KIID quotes even the possibility of a non-zero entry charge. That doesn't seem to be a problem for LGMI though.

I feel a little guilty as I haven't used that fund yet, but probably will over the next month...

It is worth asking the question in case they meet their criteria, I've had 2 funds added in the past.

Thanks all. They are NURS funds and now recall from something a couple of years back that iWeb had an issue offering these so that is possibly the reason why.

Yes they took so long that I gave up and invested in something else too!

Can you buy at L&G itself? I can see they have them there, but I don't know exactly how the unit classes (I, R, others?) compare.

I suppose that doesnt quite work for someone who wants a spread of holdings in an ISA though.

That's what I was told when I asked IWeb about the L&G MI funds several years ago. (Non UCITS compliant)

M&G Multi-Index are classed as "NURS non-complex", and as such my understanding is there's no reason for IWeb not to make them available.... but as we know with other examples such as LTGE, HSDL compliance seem to have an over-zealous interpretation of the (RDR) rules, and any hint of something being not purest vanilla and they say no.

Their choice, but it's a shame when the justification/reasoning appears rather spurious.

You can but the R class is more expensive.
