We're after a 2nd car, and deciding between the 2. I know this is a money saving forum etc etc, but i dont really want a 1.0 3 cylinder eco car, just my preference.

Anyone got experience of either car, and any issues with them? Was looking at around a 2008 S3, and similar age 330i m sport (probably a saloon)

Thanks in advance

There's a dealer in Lancashire selling nearly new Lincoln MKZ's for under 25k. Yes it's a posh Mondeo, but it's still very posh, and the Mondeo is a decent car anyway.

Two very different cars. I'd test drive both if i were you. If you fancy a hatchback theres also the 130i hatchback. Holds its money very well, particularly if you can find a 130i LE

    2 litre turbo v 6 cylinder
Rwd v 4 wheel drive (when needed)
    Saloon v Hatch

Very different cars although performance will be similar. What’s the car for? Fun or family

The 330i will be thirsty, but I love 3-series BMW's and that 6-pot motor is an evocative experience.

    330i That 6 cylinder is a world of its own, even better get a 335i or a M3 :D

    Or the Alfa Romeo version?
    It's a beast......
Funnily, i've been pondering a small Caddy sized van to facilitate a side project i'm going to work on. I havent seen much movement yet, but in theory markets like pickups and vans are likely to be hit by the upcoming downturn.
Would be interesting to hear if anyone has direct experience?

Why? So you can argue with them?
