FTB HBR Issues

Hi All
We are FTB and we have just had a home buyers report done on the house that we are purchasing. It raised a few issues like:
Evidence of significant structural movement as indicated by stair step cracking.
Evidence of lintel failure.
We are now getting a structural engineer report done.
Could these be issues that could be fixed or is it better to walk away.
It’s a 1950s ex council house.
The surveyor said that it could be easily fixed with no repocussions.
