Cheap Jack And Coke

I like a drop of Bourbon and Coke at Xmas. I know you can get cheaper brands, but for me it has to be Jack Daniels and Coca Cola. If you're the same, hopefully this will be useful:
A friend tells me Morrisons are selling the 70cl bottles of Jack Daniels for only £13 and some pence (sorry, I wasn't told the exact figure). I know in Tesco it usually sells for around £17-18 so that sounds good.
Also, I notice in Tesco they seem to have mispriced their smaller bottles of coca cola: They usually do the big 2L bottles for £1.48, but currently there is an offer on them making them 2 for £2.50 (62.5p per litre), but wait, this isn't the best offer. Despite not having any red and yellow "offer price" label on the shelf, the smaller 1.25 litre bottles are currently priced at only 59p each! This is only 47.2p per litre!
Per litre, that's 25% cheaper than their "2 for £2.50" offer, and you don't even have to spend £2.50 to get the saving - you could just buy one 59p bottle if that's all you want. I suspect it's an error on Tesco's part because they even sell the smaller 500ml bottles for more (89p, or £1.78 per litre).
Even if you don't want it with Bourbon, it's still a good price for "The Real Thing" (tm).
So, if you buy the smaller bottles, instead of getting 4 litres for £2.50, you can get 5 litres for £2.36 (if you buy 4 of the 1.25 litre bottles). Or just get as many of the smaller bottles as you like - it's cheaper per litre than their so called bigger bottles "special offer" price, yet they don't seem to be promoting this fact - maybe it was mispriced?
Note that this cheaper price only seems to be available on the Regular Coca Cola - An equal size (1.25l) "Coke Zero" is priced at £1.17 - nearly twice as much!)

Hate to be picky, but it irritates me when people call Jack Daniels a bourbon. It isn't!!!!The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0

Try Wild Turkey as an alternative to Jack which is a bit overated IMO0

I buy the LIDL's answer to Jack Daniels too and I mix it with Tesco's own coke with almond (38p i think for 2 litres). The almond flavour in the coke is fab and together they taste just like the real Jack Daniels and coke! :T0

Asda current have 1.25litres of Coke for £1.xx+ per bottle or 2 bottles for £1
(my daughters school which is right across from an Asda store have banned the kids from getting these "to go with there lunches" as it is considered unhealthy - good economic sense I think)0
