Quick question on defence

Hi
I have been issued with ccbc claim form and i have replied online to the AOS to give me some time to get my defence together. My first port of call is going to be speaking to the golf club "where i got the ANPR ticket" and see if they will cancel it as i have proof that i was a paying customer that day. I just wondered if the ticket was cancelled why is that not the end of it? Why do i still have to make a defence? Ive been looking at the newbie posts/sticky posts but cant find an answer.
Any ideas or links would be most helpful.

Is this linked to your other thread? If so, copy and paste this there and let this one die.

By placing the query on your original thread, it would bring it back to the top of the forum.
You continue to work on your defence until such time as CEL notifies the court that they are discontinuing their claim against you. Until such time, if you down tools on your defence and CEL haven’t notified them of discontinuation, they will apply for a judgment in default against you, then you’re in a much deeper pile of **** than you are now.
Get to work on the golf club (but don’t take your eye of that defence).
Last input from me on this thread, will you please PM one of the Board Guides (Crabman, savvy or soolin) and ask that your two threads be merged. You can find links to them at the foot of the forum thread list (r/h side), one page back from this one. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum.
